Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready, but it was worth the wait as it was very nice with a GREAT bed and bedding. The storage area for deliveries was convenient, and having a lake view added to the charm. The location near the airport was excellent for travelers, though some maintenance is needed. The service was always smiling and friendly, with a slight exception in the restaurant staff. Dining at The Flying Machine restaurant on-site was a pleasant experience, especially before catching a flight.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent for exploring Anchorage attractions and accessing Seward Road, but the noisy surroundings could be bothersome at times. The rooms, though clean and comfortable, lacked soundproofing, making it hard to rest peacefully. The service was friendly, but there were some issues with communication and extra charges. Dining was enjoyable, especially with a nice view, but limited options for breakfast. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement.
I had a great stay at the hotel with my family of four. The rooms were perfect for us, clean, and quiet, although the air conditioning window units were quite loud. The location was very convenient near the airport on Lake Hood, and we enjoyed watching float planes take off and land. The dining experience had its ups and downs with limited options, but the service was top-notch.
